FABRICS

The majority of swimwear today is made from synthetic materials like nylon, polyester, and spandex—even when they are labeled “recycled.” While recycled fibers reduce waste at the production level, they do not eliminate end-of-life impact. These materials are not biodegradable in natural environments. Once discarded, they do not return to the earth, they break down into smaller and smaller pieces which persist in ecosystems for decades. In landfill conditions, where most clothing ultimately ends up, these fabrics take an estimated 20-200+ years to breakdown. And even then, they do not truly disappear, they fragment into microplastics that remain in soil, water, and oceans indefinitely. Recycled nylon and polyester reduce demand for virgin petroleum, but they still behave like plastic. Recycled does not mean disappearing. It means delayed impact.

We instead chose AMNI Soul Eco® because we care about what touches your skin and what's left behind after. Pioneered in Brazil and the first biodegradable nylon of its kind in the world, it's produced through a low-emission, CO2-conscious cycle and certified by OEKO-TEX®, meeting some of the highest safety and environmental standards in the textile industry. Our blend of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex feels incredible in the water and holds its shape through every season. Your piece is made to last through years of wear — the biodegradable process only begins after proper landfill disposal.

We don't mass produce. Every piece is made in limited quantities, released thoughtfully, and restocked only when there is true demand. It's how we maintain quality control, keep production considered, and honor the resources and hands behind every garment.

We use 100% recycled materials across all packaging, including hang tags, tissue paper, and mailers. Every order is packed with care to reduce waste and keep our footprint low. We believe sustainability should extend through the full experience, not just the product.

We work with manufacturers who share our commitment to eco-conscious production. Every piece is created through a low-carbon process using advanced printing techniques that minimize water usage and reduce ink runoff. Any excess fabric is repurposed into beds for shelter animals in need.
